Six7 keeps high school communities fun, safe, and private. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Six7 app, website, or related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Information We Collect
- Account information. Name, phone number, grade, school, profile photo, and other information you provide when creating an account.
- Contacts you choose to share. With your permission, we access your contacts to enable you to invite friends and to generate questions for the game. We never spam your contacts.
- Usage and device data. Poll votes, aura balance, app interactions, diagnostic logs, device identifiers, and IP addresses used to secure the Services.
- Support conversations. Any messages you send through in-app forms.
How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Six7 experience.
- Generate questions for the game based on the contacts you share.
- Personalize polls, leaderboards, streak reminders, and reveal flows.
- Verify accounts, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Communicate about product updates, safety alerts, and support tickets.
- Analyze aggregated, de-identified usage trends to improve gameplay.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal data. We only share information with:
- Vetted service providers that power hosting, analytics, communications, or moderation—each bound by confidentiality contracts.
- Safety teams or authorities when required by law or to prevent harm.
- Other users only when features demand it (for example, revealing who voted after aura is spent).
Retention & Security
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services or comply with legal obligations. Access to production systems is tightly restricted, and we encrypt sensitive information in transit and at rest.
Your Choices
- Update or delete your account from the app.
- Revoke contact permissions via your device settings whenever you want.
- Control marketing or streak reminders from in-app notification toggles.
Students Under 13
Six7 is designed for high school communities and not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected data from someone under 13, we will delete it promptly.
International Users
Six7 operates in the United States. By using the Services from another region, you consent to your information being processed in the U.S. under this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Six7 evolves. We will post new versions here and update the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may also send an in-app notice or email.
